DAVACO Sponsors FGI Scholarship Competition 2017
Annual Event Supports Higher Education for Students Pursuing Careers in Fashion, Merchandising and Retail

Dallas, TX (May  3, 2017) — DAVACO, Inc. (, the North American leader of high-volume programs for retail, restaurant and hospitality brands, announced today that the company is sponsoring the 2017 FGI Scholarship Competition. The event, which will be held on April 21 at the Dallas Market Center, is produced by Fashion Group International (FGI) and attracts students from all over the country. DAVACO will participate with other sponsors in this year's competition that will award over $60,000 worth of scholarships—in the form of cash, products and experiences—including an opportunity to study at the Paris American Academy and an apprenticeship to designer Khanh Nguyen.

In addition to sponsoring the competition, DAVACO also served on the judge's panel for the Digital Fashion Merchandising Portfolio Award.
